Miss Kansas 2024
Alexis Smith
On June 8, Alexis Smith of Wichita, Kansas, a graduate of Newman University was crowned Miss Kansas 2024. This involvement and accomplishment resulted in Alexis being awarded nearly $15,500 in cash scholarships through the Miss Kansas competition to apply toward her education. Alexis will represent Kansas at the 2025 Miss America Competition in January of 2025. She will perform ventriloquism for her talent and compete with 51 other young women nationwide.
As Miss Kansas, Alexis will make appearances during her year of service, many of them motivational presentations to students in Kansas schools. Alexis' community service initiative is Respect Reclaimed: Advocating for Healthy Relationships.
Throughout her year of service, Alexis will work to connect her community service initiative with the Miss America and Miss Kansas Organizations. She will serve as an ambassador, representing the organization across the State of Kansas.
