By marketing the importance of education through the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and Books for Life organizations, I plan to spread the message of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen program by empowering the less fortunate, and ultimately, helping to break the cycle of poverty.
Legacy: I hope to leave a lasting legacy by working to educate and empower the less fortunate. I also look forward to working as the spokesperson for the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen organization and explaining how it bolsters young girls’ dreams and allows them to harness their passions.
Why I should be Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2015: I embody the characteristics that the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen organization represents, such as hard work, confidence, and passion. The work I’ve done with the Books for Life and Building Blocks organizations connect with the scholastic ideals of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen organization, as well as with my own personal standard. I welcome the opportunity to be a voice of encouragement to my generation and would be fortunate enough to further my platform “Educate to Empower.”
