Why I should be Miss Kansas:
I believe I should be Miss Kansas because I am a girl of integrity. I believe inner-beauty and self respect is much more important than an outward appearance.
It breaks my heart to see young girls throw their life into whatever comes their way. I believe I can set a positive example and be the role model these girls so desperately need to look up to. With or without the title of Miss Kansas, I will dedicate my life to the sacrifice of making good decisions, and being the woman that God created me to be. I want to show the young people of today that making the right choices will never be easy, but in the end, it’s worth it. I believe that if an individual wants to stand out and be unique, it requires that person to behave differently from his/her peers. Being “normal” isn’t working in today’s society. I not only want to be that “unique” individual that stands out in society with a heart of integrity, but influence the young individuals of Kansas to stand out in a positive, unique way as well.
