Why I should be Miss Kansas 2012:
The job of Miss Kansas requires service to others, dedication to a personal platform, and the ability to form and maintain lasting relationships.

I have fulfilled these job requirements through:

  • Servant Leadership-Service doesn’t begin or end with a Miss Kansas or even a Miss America title. Throughout my life I have served my God and others, by volunteering, fundraising, coaching and mentoring.
  • Platform Awareness-My Teachers Think They Can Dance event makes art touchable. It is repeatable and marketable in various formats.
  • Communication-Relationships with sponsors, businesses and communities mean so much more than a one-time donation. People give to people, and the support network I have formed is lasting.

Miss Kansas makes an impact by standing up and standing out for what she believes in. I believe in, Attainable Art, the Miss Kansas Organization, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and the people of Kansas. I ask for the honor of bringing my art to the work of Miss Kansas 2012.
