Received a Volleyball scholarship and Academic scholarship to attend Kansas Wesleyan University, Maintained a college GPA of 3.5 for two years; Academic All-Region Award for maintaining a GPA of 3.81 during volleyball season; Honor Roll through-out High School; National Honor Society; Volleyball Scholarship for Lamar Community College, Junior Leadership and Received Academic All Region Award by maintaining a GPA of 3.81 2008-2009

Leadership Roles: 
Junior Leadership; Captain, High School Volleyball team; Captain, LCC Volleyball Team; Resident Advisor for 2009-2010; setter for KWU volleyball team, 2010.

Accomplishments: 
Tiger Award in High School; Outstanding Junior in FFA; Homecoming Candidate; Outstanding Female Vocalist in Choir, KWU volleyball go to nationals, ranked #24 in the nation post season.

Interesting Facts: 
I taught myself to play the piano, and I play Collegiate Volleyball I raised a Bucket calf, traveled to Canada and Cancun in one summer, I drive a combine in the summer, I love to ride horses, and I have a Persian cat named Bash

Why I Should Be Miss Kansas:
As Miss Kansas I will represent the great state of Kansas at the Miss America Pageant. I have a true passion for education that will come shining through when I visit schools as Miss Kansas. My enthusiasm for education will hopefully reach students and allow them to build strong relationships, be lifelong learners and get an amazing education.
