Why I should be Miss Kansas:
With the title of Miss Kansas, I will represent the state by pursuing the goals I have set pertaining to my personal platform, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and the Miss America Organization. The goals I would love to accomplish include impacting the lives of our youth through the Children’s Miracle Network, working close with the American Red Cross to educate, assist, and advocate my personal platform, and expanding the Miss America Organization. I have already accomplished all of my goals as Miss Leavenworth County which included becoming familiar with the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital and raising over id="mce_marker",000 for their organization, partnering up with the American Red Cross by volunteering at various events and becoming a part of the Disaster Action Team, and expanding the Miss America Organization by recruiting two Teen contestants. I would love to have the opportunity of becoming Miss Kansas 2012 in order to share with my state the passion and drive I have toward my personal and national platform while also fulfilling the goals I have set out in my year of service.
