Why I should be Miss Kansas:
Once, I was told by a friend that if my energy could be harnessed, we would have fantastic renewable energy source to power the nation infinitely. While I am not sure that is entirely true, I do know that I have a lot of passion that will make an incredible impact if given the right tools. I have a passion for the arts and for making a difference in my community. I believe in volunteerism, and being a good role model for our younger generation. I would like to see a community where the arts are an essential part of every child's education. My enthusiasm is endless when I think of the possibility of making these ideals a reality.  I will make an unforgettable Miss Kansas because I will change lives. I want for everyone to find the 'joy' (no pun intended) in discovering the arts that I have found in my pursuits of musical theatre. It reminds me of the theatre saying, “Go big or go home”, in other words, never do anything half-way. That is how I think we should live our whole lives, as if every day is the final performance. Let's give it everything we have! You never know who you might inspire!
