Why I should be Miss Kansas:
When I was younger, I had to deal with kids making fun of my hair, and the way I dressed. Now bullying has taken a new more challenging location: the internet. This gives more power to the bully. It is vital to the state of Kansas for the victims, the bystanders, and finally the bullies to be educated about this important subject. An effective spokesperson can give this issue a face and a voice, and then this spokesperson can begin the educational process which desperately needs to take place. By doing this, Miss Kansas will be a great influence on the younger generation. Then she will be able to start the process of ultimately changing the way in which everyone can be able to treat one another in a more effective way in the future.
