Miss Kansas Organization
Centennial Club: Free to Be
The Miss Kansas Organization (MKO) is one of the largest scholarship providers for women in the United States, helping women reach goals and serve their communities. Each woman experiences tremendous growth in public speaking, business skills and confidence because of MKO. This year as Miss Kansas 2019, I have advocated on a national level for arts funding, spoken with students on the dangers of distracted driving, and have created over 100 live paintings for groups across the state. In addition to enourmous personal growth, the MKO has also helped hundreds of women make lasting friendships and earn significant scholarships.
Since the MKO is a non-profit, we have wonderful sponsors who help with the resources needed to continue providing opportunities for women ages 12-25. This year, we are continuing a sponsorship level called The Centennial Club, which is for the first 100 people who donate $100 to the Miss Kansas Scholarship Foundation before August 1st, 2020 to be listed in the program book.
- The donation may be tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor), and the donors’ names will be printed in the 2020 Miss Kansas Program Book.
- In addition to bolstering our scholarship funds, the rst 100 people to donate will receive a signed limited-edition print of my nationally award-winning speed painting of Supreme Court
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as well as a copy of the original poem entitled, “Free To Be”.
- If 100 people donate by August 1st, we will have full funded the $10,000 scholarship goal.
- All contributions to the Miss Kansas Scholarship Foundation support educational advancement.
