Marketing Plan: “Make a Difference: Volunteer Now!” is a way of life for me. I want to be a spokesperson inviting teens to experience the value of volunteering. I will continue to help others discover a passion for volunteering as I want them to experience the difference made in their own life and that of others with my three-part plan: 1)Use of media to increase awareness of the benefits of volunteering; 2) Connect teens with volunteer opportunities; and 3)Work to bring national awareness for the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Program through various volunteer opportunities.
Legacy: I would be honored to serve as Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2011 and am ready to take on the responsibility. I will connect with various national volunteer organizations and will encourage teens across the country to do the same in their community. I will help teens learn the importance of managing time for school, work and extracurricular activities. I will learn more about the Children’s Miracle Network, working as a regular volunteer for the organization to uplift the spirits of those served by CMN.
Why should I be Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2011?: I am a committed young woman – teachable, willing to learn, eager and dedicated for success – and that makes me a very good candidate for this job and opportunity. I offer a variety of talents and gifts and would love to share these with teens across the country. My plan of action to promote a platform of volunteerism could be put into action as Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in every state and territory during 2011.
